About Me

Hello! Here is a little about me!

I am Su. I am a mom of 2 young strong-willed children. I love cooking for/with my family, traveling and exploring nature. I also love listening to podcasts, reading and enjoy staying up to date on my clinical practices.

I became a counselor because I believe in the power of human connection and the possibility of change. Early in my life and career, I was placed in a position to work with clients who had experienced high degrees of trauma in their pasts. I saw how feeling truly heard and understood, combined with evidence-based practices, could transform someone’s sense of self and direction. I wanted to be that safe, steady presence for others—someone who listens without judgment, helps untangle life’s challenges, and offers effective evidence-based practices for healing and growth. I am passionate about what I do and I find my work deeply fulfilling.

I have extensive experience in working with PTSD due to shock trauma or complex trauma, phobias, parent-child relational problems, attachment problems, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. I believe therapy works best when it’s collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each person’s unique needs. I integrate evidence-based methods—including EMDR, Trauma-Focused CBT, and Internal Family Systems-informed techniques—to help clients process past experiences, provide effective coping strategies, and create meaningful change.

I feel honored to be invited into my clients’ stories and to walk alongside them through both challenges and breakthroughs. I love witnessing moments of clarity, resilience, and growth—when someone begins to believe in their own strength again. Every client’s journey is unique, and being part of that process inspires me daily.

If any of what I mentioned resonates with you and you feel ready to start your healing work, please feel free to contact me via email harmonywithing24@gmail.com or phone 260.255.6566 for a free 15-minute consultation.
